priyakay: people keep commenting on this picture saying that counterprotesting like this is unproductive and embarrassing, etc. But while being polite, peaceful, and showing displays of community are seriously great, it’s not going to do anything to deter them at all. Making this sign isn’t stooping to their level—the WBC causes real harm to families when they protest at funerals and subject their children to these picket lines. This guy is just (peacefully) telling this woman, who is dressed like a total moron and spouting horrible hateful things ten feet away from where I used to park my car everyday, what everyone else is thinking. i love it.  ^tell it.
